Check-In: Check-in time is 2:00 PM – 4:00PM on the first day of your lease at the property. To speed up your check-in time please call Chris at (302)226-2012 or (302)521-7885 when you are about an hour away. If you need to check in later special arrangements will need to be made in advance and an additional $50 fee maybe required.
Check-Out: You must check-out of the property before 10:00 AM on the last day of your lease. We appreciate your leaving the property in a neat and orderly condition. Don’t forget to check in drawers and under beds for personal items. Drop your keys, permits, and pool passes at our office key drop.
Reservation Deposits: Within 12 days of your request, we must receive one half of the total amount due in order to confirm your reservation. If your deposit is not received within 12 days, the reservation is automatically canceled. If your arrival is less than 30 days away, your full payment must be made immediately
Cancellation: If you have to cancel, change or transfer, your deposit can only be refunded if the same unit is re-rented for the cancellation period. You will be charged a re-rent fee of 15% of the total rent amount.
Tax: There is a 3% rental tax on all properties located within the city limits of Rehoboth Beach & Dewey Beach. There is a 5% rental tax on all properties located within the city limits of Lewes.
Balance of Rent: The balance of your rent is due in full thirty (30) days prior to your check-in date. Security Deposit: All of our weekly properties require a security instrument of $300. Credit cards will not be accepted for security deposits.
No Pets: Absolutely no pets are allowed in any rental units, unless otherwise noted in your lease. Should a guest accompanied by a pet of any kind attempt to occupy the property they may be immediately evicted and/or refused admittance. The guests will be responsible for any expenses which may occur.
What You NEED TO BRING: Bed linens, blankets, bath, beach and kitchen towels, cleaning supplies and paper products. All rental properties are equipped for simple cooking and housekeeping and contain dishes, cookware, silverware, glassware, pillows and bedspreads. Coffee makers, toasters and televisions are usually provided although not guaranteed. Other small appliances, charcoal grills and beach chairs are usually NOT PROVIDED. Property items such as pans, dishes, glasses and silverware,
bedspreads or furniture are not to be taken out of the property (i.e. to the beach or to other properties).
Parking: Look at the provided parking information. Additionally, the cities of Rehoboth and Dewey Beach require permits for on-street parking during summer months. Any such permits desired are the responsibility of our guests.
Messages, Mail and Fax: We'll be glad to take messages and accept mail at our check-in offices during business hours. Please remember to check with our offices if you are expecting messages or mail. Our associates can only deliver messages which are true emergencies.
Telephones: If the rental property contains a telephone, the number appears on your lease. Guests are responsible for all long distance and toll call expenses. Not all properties contain telephones and many properties have telephones which only permit local calling. Phones with local access only may not be able to dial a toll free number. All long distance and toll calls must be billed to a credit card.
Bedding, Sofa Sleepers and Roll-a-ways: Rental properties do not include blankets, bed and bath linens. Mattress pads and pillows are usually provided. You must plan on providing your own linens. We do not recommend sofa sleepers and rollaway beds for adult use.
Cleaning and Housekeeping: Our goal is to have each property cleaned prior to your check-in at 2:00 PM. Occasionally, our cleaning companies need more time and it may be necessary to allow them access after 2:00 PM.
Construction and Maintenance: As our area continues to grow, we cannot predict when or where new construction or routine maintenance will begin. We have no control in these situations and cannot move you or offer rebates.
Pools and Hot Tubs: Properties listing swimming pools or outdoor hot tubs will usually have them available during the summer months. Pools and hot tubs may or may not be available at other times. Ask you reservation specialist for details.
Prices and Information: We have made every effort to ensure that the information on this site is accurate; however, we are not responsible for publishing errors and omissions or changes made by the owner in furnishings equipment, bedding arrangements or rates. All pricing is subject to change without notice.
Tentative Reservations: We really hope that you will be our guest again in future. If you would like to reserve your unit for next year, don’t forget to fill out the Tentative Reservation Form in your check-in package and turn it into us when you check-out.
Maintenance or Damage: Everything should be in good working order upon your arrival. Please report any inoperative equipment or damage to the property immediately after check-in.
Lockout Charge and Lost Keys: There is a fee of $25 for lockouts during the hours the office is closed, payable when the guest is readmitted to the property. There is a $50 key replacement charge.
Agency Relationship: Rehoboth Bay Realty, Co. (Agent) has an agency relationship with and fiduciary responsibility to the Owners of our properties. The Agent has been hired and paid by the Owners for services rendered. The Agent is always representing the best interest of the Owner in all negotiations regarding rental properties
